The Girl boss is the one thing you want to be. You’ve decided on your dream, you have gone after your goals, may or may not have achieved them, and maybe you’ve adopted the habits every Girl Boss has to the extreme and yet you wonder ‘what does she have that I don’t?’
Below 10 things you might be overlooking or completely ignoring that makes a Girl boss very successful. You might know some of these and might either be ignoring them or deem them not important. Well, there are. Let’s get started!
1. A morning routine
The first thing you do in the morning will determine the outcome of your whole day. So by starting your day right, you maximize the positive influence of what you do throughout the day.
Therefore, setting the tone for the new day is extremely important.
The best way to do so is to form good habits to start your day right.
The morning is the best time to do that because your highest willpower is right after you wake up from sleep, that’s why you hardly get tasks done that you plan them during the evenings.
Establishing a routine makes it easier to get done since it’s like a chain, when you do a task it automatically fuels you to the next one, those series of habits is what makes your morning routine.
Your morning routine should consist of tasks depending on your lifestyle and business.
2. A life vision & a goal:
A vision is what you see when you look into your future, it’s how you see yourself, what you do, the way you impact others, what your dream life is, but it’s greater than just a business or materialistic want.
It’s how you feel, how you’ve impacted lives, what you want to be known for. That’s your vision and it’s fueled by what you know to be your purpose in life.
Living without purpose is simply just living, waiting for the rest of the world to decide where you belong and what you deserve. Every girl boss, know that her life is in her hands, and so is yours too.
You should ask yourself, where I see myself in the next 5 years? The next ten years? Then make a goal, something you can reach every week or month to make that life happen.
3. A goal:
Every girl boss has a goal, a goal is the ultimate soul of your dream, the one thing you will achieve to get your dream life.
Everyone can dream about living in the Bahamas, with a mansion and a beautifully happy Family, but unless you decide on that thing you would do you get it then it’ll just be a dream.
4. A plan:
A plan is broke down goal. Having a destination is a really good thing, but without having the directions you’ll get lost, get frustrated and give up on that goal.
Think about all it will take to get that goal, the small steps and plan them out.
5. A reading list:
There are no girl bosses or successful people that don’t read books. Self-help books, personal development books, books in their fields, and books of the world.
Knowledge is power if you want to succeed.
Your value is not in what you have or what you do, everything is temporary except what you have in your brain. Except if you lose your memory of course.
But when you lose everything, when you don’t know what to do, your knowledge will guide you and open a pave a new path for you.
Having confidence is critical to achieving your success, whether you think highly of yourself or not, will affect your self-belief and how well you perform. You should have confidence in who you are as a person, what you believe in and you should be confident in your abilities to make it work.
It’s all about marketing yourself to the world unless you show people that you have it no one is going to believe you do. You don’t have to figure it all out but one simple tip is to fake it till you make it.
7. A journal:
A journal, a diary, a notepad, a board. Whatever it is that will allow you to write down your goals and ideas.
Every Girl boss knows the importance of not just planning out your goals but writing them down. Writing your goals makes it stick to your brain and makes it 65% more possible to be carried out.
Writing your goals or anything that comes to mind that inspires you will also make you less likely to forget them. Even if you don’t end up doing it, you’ll have ideas to go back to when you no longer have inspiration.
There are a lot of resources that can help you, if you’re less likely to write then you can use an app, but writing is key here.
